A cast of creative and innovative thinkers photographed by Ethan James Green
July 26th, 2017
Only a few months to 11 September, the date when Shayne Oliver, who recently buried his Hood by Air, will debut as designer for Helmut Lang during New York Women's Fashion Week - first in a series of creative who will be alternated on different projects, overlooked by the main editor of Dazed and Confused, Isabella Burley.
Along with the new collection of Olivier’s, internal design team and creatives are reworking in fluid and unisex style 15 archival pieces to make young people fall in love with Lang. The project will renew more historic items every four months.
To break the boredom of waiting, the brand launched in 1986 gives us a small gift: six preview images of the new FW17 advertising campaign.
The black and white shots made by Ethan James Green include an intergenerational cast of innovative thinkers, new faces and creative icons such as Alek Wek, Chris Kraus, Larry Clark, Lords Traci, Shayne Oliver, Nicky Rat, Mari Copeny, Kembra, Pfahler , Yoshi, Alanie Quinones, Aurel Haize, Grace Gee, Ian Isiah, Gogo Graham, Dara e Sohyun Jung.
