VLONE's debut at Paris Men's Fashion Week

The Paris Men0s Fashion Week welcomed a new brand in its calendar. It's not just a "rookie", but it's a well-known name, especially in streetwear: we are talking about VLONE.

Yesterday, A$AP Bari's brand has made its debut during fashion shows of the SS18 season in Paris, conquering criticism and all its fans. Here's all that happened during VLONE's SS18 show.

#1 Paris

A$AP Bari explained during an interview with WWD why he chose the French capital for the debut of his brand during the men fashion weeks.

"I wanted to show in Paris to see if I could complete the mission I'm going for. I'm trying to show kids that you can do anything. I'm not a kid who went to fashion school. A kid who went to college and studied fashion. I'm a kid who grew up in fashion and learned it from a life experience".

#2 Streaming

The fashion show, which took place inside the Pavillon Cambon in Paris, was streamed exclusively on the Tidal and Sprint channels, making the brand debut at Paris Fashion Week Menswear even more special.

#3 Special Guests

As we have already said, this season seems to have launched the trend of rappers in the role of models. Not only Milan, but also Paris has followed this way and during the VLONE SS18 fashion show Lil Peep, Long Island rapper, has appeared on the runway – we have already seen him as model at Marcelo Burlon's fashion show.

#4 Collaboration

The VLONE fashion show has unveiled the brand's new collaboration with Nike, presenting the VLONE x Nike Air Force 1 Highs model and the VLONE x Nike Vandal Highs model.

#5 The collection

For the debut of his brand, A$AP Bari seems to have gone beyond streetwear. With VLONE's iconic pieces, including the famous camouflage pattern and the printed "FRIENDS", this collection is a step forward to experimenting with new fabrics – such as leather and suede – as well as new graphic prints and fantasies, and more innovative tailoring details.
