Taking the mass-retro-madness away for a second, it seems like everything else is no more capable of generating a consistent amount of hype. Have the sneaker game become so fast that, a part from macro-trends, everything else is doomed to be forgotten in a bunch of seconds? Once hyped kicks used to age like wine and become legendary
year after year. Today a week passed from the release they're already gone and forgotten. For sure something big and unpredictable is about to happen.
Ewing x 2 Chainz 33 Hi
World famous rapper 2 Chainz teams up with Ewing once again on their historic silhouette the 33 Hi. This time they chose a premium ostrich printed leather with a gradient coloration that goes from with to pitch black. The most interesting detail of the shoes is the compression strap on the top of the upper with star shaped studs-resembling Givenchy Tysons- with a 33 branded chrome buckle.
adidas x Palace Indoor
To inaugurate their brand new New York location Palace is about to drop their next capsule in collaborations with adidas. The capsule will include an exclusive sneaker collab. the Palace x adidas Indoor will release in two colorways: royal blue and yellow and tonal grey. The sneaker will feature a micro-perforated suede and will be available online and at Palace NY and London locations.
Nike PG1 "Elements"
Nike Basketball creative team together with NBA star Paul George, managed to give life to a brand new court model. The sneaker was heavily reworked in terms of materials, sole shape and comfort details, after PG injury. This brand new iteration will be the most comfortable PG1 ever made and some more cw are about to be released in the near future.
Nike x Pigalle Ndestrukt
Stephane Ashpool aka Pigalle and NikeLab reworked the 1990 classic Ndestruct and brought the iconic silhouette to a new life. The sneaker features deep blue mudguards, black and white tweed upper and silver air button on the ankle. The midsole and the sole are in opaque white that works well with the rest of the shoe. The sneakers will release
exclusively in store and online at NikeLab.
