June 8th, 2017
Do you remember Veruschka von Lehndorff? The 60s and 70s fashion-icon model, as well as actress and Michelangelo Antonioni's muse in the Blow-Up movie? Well, she surprisely came back to present us the Acne Studios' Resort18 collection.
In fact, he Swedish brand has chosen the 70-year-old as the face of the lookbook of its new collection. And who better than her to embody the Sixties and Seventies spirit that the collection possesses?
So, vintage atmosphere for this Resort18 by Acne Studios. The denim crop jacket, jeans gilet and tie-dyed biker pants bring us back in time, to rock concerts and to the great alternative music festivals of the Seventies, while the male silhouettes of the coats and suede trousers, the stripes shirt and "grandfather-like" sweaters seem to have come out from Diane Keaton's best wardrobe. The colors are the protagonists of the collection, which recreate a Seventies palette, with its shades of brown, warm red, blue navy and ocher.
But it does not want to be a nostalgic collection, rather a tribute to that past aesthetic which the brand wants to enrich with its sartorial rigor and trendy garments such as printed fuseaux, metal accessories, maxi bag and long gloves in suede – undoubtedly one of the Hot pieces of the collection.
