For its upcoming Cruise18 Collection

There is a little less than two days missing at Louis Vuitton show when, on May 14th, the Maison will present its Cruise Collection at the Miho Museum, the jewel of Oriental art near Kyoto City, Japan.
The wait becomes more and more feverish and the first news begins to leak.
The most important is a collaboration with the fashion designer Kansaï Yamamoto, who for the occasion will provide traditional Japanese prints.
But who is Yamamoto? He's the man behind David Bowie's costumes on Ziggy Stardust On His roundabout tour (1972-1973).
His avant-garde, feminine, and floating creations helped cement the androgynous look of the iconic English artist.
How will this style be reflected in Nicolas Ghesquière's new collection? How will modernity of LV’s designer join Eastern tradition?
Still little more and we will know.
