Calvin Klein never fails.
After the recent campaign for the SS17 Underwear Men collection, with the cast of Moonlight, the movie who won the Best Picture award during the last Oscars night, for the womenswear line the brand has chosen very special models who have not disappointed the fans.
Calvin Klein or Nothing at All features a series of grainy black and white videos, directed by Sofia Coppola, who celebrate the female beauty of all ages, from 17 to 73 years old. The stars of the campaign are the director's muse Kirsten Dunst, but also Rashida Jones, Lauren Hutton, Nathalie Love, the up-and-coming actress Laura Harrier, Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke's daughter, Maya Thurman-Hawke, and Chase Sui Wonders, Anna Sui's niece, captured by the Coppola's cozy lens. The result is a series of intimate video clips, with soft and dreamy tones, in which the women unveil not only their Calvin Klein underwear but also some of their memories of the past.
And so, in the videos, Kirsten Dunst, Rashida Jones, Lauren Hutton and the others tell us the story of their first kiss and crushes.
An advertising campaign who is much more: is a reflection of the beauty of every age and every ethnicity; a tribute to women, to their little details, like a smile, a wrinkle or a silly story, but emotionally very important.
And everything is told by the director who can explore the female universe better than others.
