Sneakers to release this weekend - from March 30th to April 3rd 2017

Air Max Day have passed. While sneaker addicts are still struggling to get themselves a pair of their beloved shoes among last two weeks super-hyped drops, everything else seems to be quietly flowing. But sneakers never really sleep and this week also brings some hot releases.

Nike Air Jordan 4 X KAWS 

One of the most anticipated and iconic collaborations of the year. Finally, the Jordan collaboration with pop artist and designer Brian Donnelly (best known as Kaws) is real. Dark gray suede with a specially washed look wraps the whole upper and midsole, even replacing the usual details in plastic. An interesting detail is the all over stitched with iconic KAWS figures. Also, the green gum outsole that glows in the dark. The usual back tongue with Jordan branding and Jumpman has been replaced for the occasion by Kaws "XX" branding. A small apparel capsule will come out together with this collab and will feature Kaws figures in reflective 3M. 

Under Armour 3D printed Archi-Tech Futurist

These hybrid trainers were announced by Under Armour just over one year ago. This second iteration of Archi-Tech model feature the same outsole as the previous one in a special dynamic "lattice" network, for extra-comfort and cushioning. The shoe was designed to fit different athletes performing different disciplines, that's the main reason why versatility is the most fundamental element of these sneakers. The upper features UA SpeedForm technology and a special compression strap to provide super-lightweight support. This sneaker will be released in very limited quantities and only in selected stores.

Alexander Wang X adidas AW BBAL

Alexander Wang and adidas go deep into basketball aesthetic. The new AW BBALL feature a complex paneling, with perforated to scan detailing and a special sole construction to ensure the best traction together with the comfort of BOOST technology cushioning. Even if the sneakers don't look suitable for real basketball playing, it is another brilliant example of this year clunky silhouette trend.
