The Margiela's archive will be the star of a porn cinema in Paris

Have you ever thought that fashion could have an “erotic” side? Think about it, the purchase of the bag of your dirty dreams isn't it exciting? And a look at an amazing dress in a store window, as luxury as impossible for your budget, doesn't it cause you the same thrill of love at first sight?

Maybe it's the same think that Gill Linton, the Byronesque's founder, thought when she decided to open a vintage pop-up store in Paris in the last remaining adult cinema in town. The object of desire is the Margiela's archive. 

This weekend, from 12-9 p.m., you can live an exciting shopping experience, maybe for some of you orgasmic, admiring and buying some of the most iconic mason's pieces.  

The location is the Le Beverley Cinema in the second arrondissement of Paris, near the Louvre, which is perfect for the Margiela's spirit, as Gill Linton explained: “Regardless of the fact that Le Beverley is an adult cinema, it is one of the last remaining symbols of independent subculture, a perfect fit then for celebrating the cult status of these exclusive items. It’s the idea that it’s something provocative and plays on Margiela’s anonymity and how he saw beauty in what society otherwise deemed ugly or taboo... There’s already enough pretty, slick things happening (at fashion week). It was typical for Margiela to avoid that and this venue pays homage to that”.
