adidas, Kith e Naked together for the new NMD CS2
Part of the Sneakers Exchange Series here's a new limited edition
February 21st, 2017
adidas, Kith and Naked present NMD CS2, part of "Sneakers Exchange" series, a project that brings together two of the adidas Consortium network retailers for the creation of limited edition sneakers. The collaboration this time includes two of the streetwear rising stars that, together, create a new shoe inspired by the high-resolution imagery of powder paints colliding and exploding. Available in pink with golden stripes or sandstone with silver stripes, the CS2 has sock-like construction, abandoning the conventional lacing system. The peculiarity of the new silhouette is that the iconic adidas stripes are no longer in a lateral position, but run across the upper (in Primeknit) from the pull-tab to the tip. Each sneaker features Naked branding on the tongue of the right shoe, while RF - for Ronnie Fieg, the founder of the brand and the New York boutique Kith - on the left shoe. Elastic and asymmetrical topline, boost midsole long underfoot, and foldover on the side give the NMD CS2 ultra-modern aesthetic, perfect for girls who love sneakers, but unisex enough to adapt to menswear.
The shoe drops on March 4 at Kith and Naked, both in-store and online, on March 11 will see a wider release through global adidas Consortium accounts.
