The North Face drops Urban Expedition Icons
A new release of its more iconic garments turned urban
February 20th, 2017
The North Face renews two great classics of its 60s and 70s archives for the collection "Urban Expedition Icons". The brand specialized in technical mountain clothing and in recent years in streetwear, revisits two of its iconic garments in a more urban way: Men's Mountain Light Murdo Parka and Women's Cagoule Light Parka. The first, evolution of the famous McMurdo Expedition Jacket, integrates a combination of chest pockets, typical on the models used by mountaineers, with a more fitted silhouette and an all-weather protection, which leaves wind and weather no chance. The second, however, is striking for its light weight, which allows for maximum flexibility and freedom movements, all without sacrificing functionality. Women's Cagoule Light Parka, in fact, enjoys the DryVent technology that protects the external temperature, dryness and ensuring optimal ventilation. With "Urban Expedition Icons" the North Face combines the technology of pieces for mountain activities with contemporary style.
There is still no official date for the release, but stay tuned for more news!
