How are you living the quarantine? Fears and dreams?

I am equal amounts connected and distant, bored and energized, content and anxious, fearful and inspired, but overall, I am choosing to remain present and make the most of these trying times. Many people are resisting the realities of the situation, and that resistance is contributing to others' fears. Alternatively, I suggest, accepting that this may be an experience, as a global community and as individuals, that we need to go through to inspire realignment and ignite big change. My biggest concern is the effect this has on marginalized and oppressed demographics, but I’m hopeful that we will practice empathy and support each other however we can through the challenges. 

What is your soundtrack?

I’ve been listening to a lot of oldies lately (Isley Brothers, Roy Ayers, Bee Gees, Bobby Caldwell etc.),  while simultaneously trying to get familiar with 2020 Soca to honour all the Caribana festivities that most likely won’t be happening in Toronto this summer. Also, Believe It - PND and Rihanna (of course).
