How are you living the quarantine: fears and dreams?
Taking everything 1 day at a time…
The days start with phone calls to my family, along with some tea and music. Work calls start shortly after that. The team is working remotely, from Dubai to Brazil, on new creative ideas that we don’t always get the time to focus on. My girlfriend and I go for a quick run around the neighbourhood before sunset and then I get to unwind with time in the studio each evening. We’re having evening cocktails and home-cooked meals together.
I fear how long it will be before our family be together again. Time moves slowly and everything feels the same distance apart.
It’s hard to wrap my head around the scale of what’s happening and the fact that we can’t move. Everything is still. But I’m happy to see that everyone’s reaction is the same… at a time like this, we want good health and time with our loved ones. I dream that we all remember that.
What is your soundtrack?
Music is constantly on in the house. Day times are the 1960s and 70’s African funk and also classic Ska and Rocksteady. Evenings are spent going through my record collection and hard drives filled with music. I’m trying to listen to at least 3-4 new albums per week.
