The Fashion and Design Industries have been aggressively afflicted by the COVID-19 emergency. As a consumer, but also as a future insider of those systems, what will be the worst consequences of this crisis?
The fashion industry will radically change, I am sure that the fashion world will see some hard times to start back. We understood that we never gave the right importance to fashion items, because the rush of launching the new collection every season makes worthless the efforts of the past collections. In this sense, there are going to be many problems, one of which will be that companies are producing too much, causing a serious damage to the environment; beside, the rhythms that oppress every designer or brand are not tolerable anymore. The consequences? A radical change, I think for the better!
Your work is built on creativity. Where do you find your inspiration in this moment?
I have various hints, but sometimes creativity goes away. In this time in isolation, I looked a lot around me, I re-discovered the beauty of nature that I wasn't looking anymore, and I did some research about some topics that I wanted to know much more, making them my personal goals. They inspired me a lot.
