Schools have been among the first institutions to adapt to the new measures of quarantine. How did your school react to the state of emergency? In your opinion, what are the pros and cons of online classes?
At first it was difficult to accept the reality of online lessons, but then little by little you get used to it and try to adjust. There were many problems starting from the internet connection to the impossibility to access the workshops and work (this one aspect of the quarantine that had a negative impact on fashion students). The only positive thing is the fact that you save the money for transports.
The Fashion and Design Industries have been aggressively afflicted by the state of quarantine and social distancing. As a consumer, but also as a future insider of those systems, what do you think the worst consequences of this crisis will be?
The most serious consequence is that the clothing industry has to cut staff and create more and more online platforms. Obviously, we students will also suffer because we have the same fear of the huge fashion's instability, from fast-fashion to the luxury market.
Your work is built on creativity. While we’re all in quarantine, what is your solution to keep on being creative? Where do you find your inspiration in this moment?
My work only lately is feeding on creativity, personally I like to travel alone and visit places, museums and even gardens etc... thus creating a dimension of my own. Mainly that is the source of my creativity, then I also like to share creative experiences with people who live in realities different from mine, in order to expand the universe in which I constantly live. Obviously, currently I use the social media to be inspired.
