Schools have been among the first institutions to adapt to the new measures of quarantine. How did your school react to the state of emergency? In your opinion, what are the pros and cons of online classes?
Since I am a commuter, among the pros I would say no need to take public transport and thus avoid hours of travel to reach the school. Among the cons there is the difficulty to pay attention and the lack of direct interaction with professors and other students and the difficulty in following the workshops. This certainly led us to look for alternative creative solutions, for example in finding materials.
The Fashion and Design Industries have been aggressively afflicted by the state of quarantine and social distancing. As a consumer, but also as a future insider of those systems, what do you think the worst consequences of this crisis will be?
Both as a consumer and as a future worker, I think we should simply act. We should help the economy and Italian products, and give more importance to quality than quantity.
Your work is built on creativity. While we’re all in quarantine, what is your solution to keep on being creative? Where do you find your inspiration in this moment?
Reading, watching films and videos, listening to music, surfing the Internet and various social networks. At home I had more time to focus on these activities.
