Schools have been among the first institutions to adapt to the new measures of quarantine. How did your school react to the state of emergency? In your opinion, what are the pros and cons of online classes?
Before it all started I was already on my exam break, I feel like I haven't been to the academy in ages. We started almost immediately and in some ways the online lessons are convenient, after the lesson you can immediately start doing something without spending an hour on the train but I miss the human contact, sharing ideas, visions, talks made out of nothing. It's not the same thing.
The Fashion and Design Industries have been aggressively afflicted by the state of quarantine and social distancing. As a consumer, but also as a future insider of those systems, what do you think the worst consequences of this crisis will be?
This crisis will cause the closure of many companies and brands and only the strongest will remain. I believe it could lead to a major change from the point of view of sustainability, but I do not believe in a real revolution of the fashion system.
Your work is built on creativity. While we’re all in quarantine, what is your solution to keep on being creative? Where do you find your inspiration in this moment?
I miss the stimulation from the outside world, from people, even from a simple phrase of a friend, but I understand how my experiences, my life, my dreams, my nightmares can be a great personal inspiration.
