How has your everyday-life changed? What do you do to fulfill your day?
Some things have changed a lot while others remain the same. I continue to stay busy with my academics but have had to adapt to a fully remote lifestyle. I've certainly had more time to explore new creative avenues and work on my hobbies and passions due to the extended tima at home. I ama fortunate to be with my family right now unlike many others. Although this change has been an unprecedented experience, I value the chance to step back and re-center myself. I have enjoyed reading, creating, designing, and taking some time to breathe.
Your work is built on creativity. While we’re all in quarantine, what is your solution to keep on being creative? Where do you find your inspiration in this moment?
Inspiration is found everywhere. Quarantine has not changed our capacity to be creative, however, it has forced us to look down different avenues. I have been so impressed by all of the results surfacing from being at home by the creative community. Whether it be face-time photoshoots art pieces using household items, or innovate company ideas it has been amazing to see where our minds can go in face of a crisis and change of enviroment.
What is your biggest fear right now?
I am afraid of the lasting effects of the virus on the world. How much of human interaction could be deemed necessary as we wxplore digitalization? What will the job market look like in this field? What world I be making my career in?
What will you do once all of this is over?
I expect like many others I will look at the world a bit differently. We tend to take for granted certain things without even a second thought. A coffee with friends, a dinner with family, an animated discussion with colleagues. These are the things I know I will appreciate even more than I did before.
