How has your everyday-life changed? What do you do to fulfill your day?
It was fundamental to adapt mind and body to new rhythms and spaces, to get used to this time and use it for our advantage and to not give up to pursuit our goals. So I re-scheduled my everything. I workout in the morning, I listen to podcasts on my terrace and I take online classes. Of course, it has been an uncomfortable passage, I went from white to black, I was living a routine that was part of my very existence and ambitions. Still, I am trying to go on with my reality, that is closed only physically, and I am looking at this time as a chance to reflect on my history and think of new goals.
Your work is built on creativity. While we’re all in quarantine, what is your solution to keep on being creative? Where do you find your inspiration in this moment?
Despite the turning of the events, I tried to keep doing researches and develop new concepts and create new connections. There have been many magazines that gave free access to their digital archives, as many initiatives on social medias that helped me exercise my creativity. The best solution has been to keep working on my projects and ideas, re-scheduling our very own approach to our professional and personal life.
What is your biggest fear right now?
I have always feared what is waiting for me in the future, and that I could not be able to reach my goals and build my identity. I am scared of "plans b" and spare wheels, and now more than ever I think of what the future means to me and I ask myself: can I trust my ambitions?
What will you do once all of this is over?
I want to be optimistic and think of this break as the solution to roll the dice and start a new game.
