How has your everyday-life changed? What do you do to fulfill your day?
My everyday life has changed quite a lot: before the pandemic, I didn't miss a chance to go out and use in every way possibile a sunny day, but now I am forced to stay at home and I have to constantly come up with something to keep my mind awake. Beside the typical Netflix & beer, I try to find different hints from everything that I can; from music to painting, from graphic to sewing, from practical works to simple drafts.
Your work is built on creativity. While we’re all in quarantine, what is your solution to keep on being creative? Where do you find your inspiration in this moment?
To never stop. Search for hints in everything you see, even the less interesting things. Hints and stimulations come only when you are ready to catch them. In my personal situation, everyday I find new ideas that I immediately try to turn into reality, and I am inspired by what I find on the web, movies, people, music and art in general, from which I always try to make something of my own.
What is your biggest fear right now?
To be honest, I am living a quite peaceful moment and I am finally focusing on myself, a luxury that I was missing. If I have to find something that scares me, I have the fear that we will never be able to go back at what we were. Despite I am trying my best to make everything that I can, I fear that I will not be able to actually give my best. I am starting to underestimate me.
What will you do once all of this is over?
I think that we are in a situation that is so weird, so that nobody know what could happen tomorrow. I am not thinking about a post-virus situation, of course we will not have what we want immediately, it will take a long time, but if we really want to go back at the way we were it is necessary to be calm, have patience and act as the government is recommending us.
