How has your everyday-life changed? What do you do to fulfill your day?
My daily life is made of limits, like everyone's, but if this situation has taught me something, it is that we must learn to be enough to feel good in the world, with or without a pandemic. In my days, in addition to studying, I try to do what makes me feel good, and that is cooking.
Your work is built on creativity. While we’re all in quarantine, what is your solution to keep on being creative? Where do you find your inspiration in this moment?
I like to draw inspiration from experiences and unfortunately the ones I can do within the four walls of my apartment are very limited. For now I just look out the window and scroll through my Instagram, which remains my main source of inspiration and information.
What is your biggest fear right now?
My biggest fear from this pandemic is to be afraid of people, but unfortunately this is what we will have to expect in the near future. Unknowns, friends, relatives, the virus could be everywhere, or I could have it, in short, we will no longer be able to trust anything or anyone and this scares me a lot.
What will you do once all of this is over?
My favorite activity is to imagine the future. Coronavirus has taught me that even what we take for granted can vanish. I will not stop to imagine the future for this, but I will make it more flexible and full of variables. To look forward, I think it is the greatest source of hope for everyone, and so it is for me: in two months I will graduate, a moment that I have always dreamed and that I will live through a webcam, but that will finally open the doors of my future. A future that is uncertain, but full of new possibilities.
