How has your everyday-life changed? What do you do to fulfill your day?
My everyday life has changed tremendously. It used to consist of running around Milan doing all sorts of things whether it was school related or just social; super-fast-paced but I loved it! Now I am living with my lovely parents in Miami, so my slow-paced day is made up mostly of studying and sun-bathing.
Your work is built on creativity. While we’re all in quarantine, what is your solution to keep on being creative? Where do you find your inspiration in this moment?
Lately, I have been finding great inspiration in reflection. Having days to myself to introspect and look back on my life has brought me so many ideas and feelings that usually manifest visually. I created an account on Instagram to archive all of my visual art, something that has proven a good motivator to continue creating and sharing.
What is your biggest fear right now?
My biggest fear is how this pandemic will change the way the people works. We are entering a new era of human history and I am curious to see how it will affect everyday life after quarantine. I already feel a strange tension in the air when I’m in public places- I’m worried fear and trauma will mean no more kisses on the cheek, no more dancing in great crowds and no more cute old couples walking all around the city (at least for a while).
What will you do once all of this is over?
I cannot wait to start living my life in a more thankful and enthusiastic way.
