How has your everyday-life changed? What do you do to fulfill your day?
The main change in my routine is the impossibility to move, then there are also the closure of my school and the lack of human touch: it happened all of a sudden, it was unsettling. I try to keep myself active during the day with some works at home, mostly manual. Having a little studio at home, I can keep myself busy with a little ease.
Your work is built on creativity. While we’re all in quarantine, what is your solution to keep on being creative? Where do you find your inspiration in this moment?
It's always difficult to cultivate creativity, and this lockdown doesn't help us finding new inspirations. Though, I think that boredom is an important starting point to find new clues. I see boredom as a fundamental part of what we need to break our routine and find new projects.
What is your biggest fear right now?
Beside the worry of what is going to happen next, and the radical turmoil of our habits, my biggest fear is that as a society we will not learn from our mistakes.
What will you do once all of this is over?
To be honest, right now my biggest hope is that this situation comes soon to an end. When we will have to, I'm sure that we will find the solution to every problem.
