How has your everyday-life changed? What do you do to fulfill your day?
I’m not much of a home person, I’ve always preferred to stay out and be around people. Therefore, it’s been quite of a big change. I try to vary as much as I can how I spend my time during this period. If the environment around us have to be the same everyday due to the situation, let’s try at least to diversify what we do! I’m dedicating time to the activities that have always been on my bucket list, such as playing guitar, getting better at using graphic software and reading the tons of books that I’ve been accumulating.
Your work is built on creativity. While we’re all in quarantine, what is your solution to keep on being creative? Where do you find your inspiration in this moment?
I think it’s all about diversifying as much as possible your sources of inspiration. Usually I am mainly inspired by people and by living with them and exchanging ideas with them. Now the biggest help to get creative are movies, books, documentaries and online visual inspirations/moodboards.
What is your biggest fear right now?
Deep down I have the strong feeling that the future will bring more changes than we expect. And this excites me but also scares me. To turn this fear into creativity and to reshape the structure of the “new world” could be the greatest challenge of our generation.
What will you do once all of this is over?
I’m pretty much of a night owl, one of the things I miss the most about normality is going to events and parties and getting lost in the Milanese nightlife. But I guess it will take a while for that. I think I’ll simply start living the city again, which is one of the things I love most: going to vintage clothing stores and to the cinema, spending time with my friends, going to events, meeting new people…
