How has your everyday-life changed? What do you do to fulfill your day?
My daily life has changed a lot because the recreation activities that before I could do without restrictions are less. While before when in my spare time I could meet friends, I could go out and have a chat now the only way I have to do that is a videochat, which is something I have always hated that’s why I haven’t done it earlier in this quarantine.
Now my days are monotonous because they follow the same routine, I wake up, I do some exercise whenever I feel inspired, and the activities that I find more interesting are reading books and looking for references for my thesis project. I do not find interesting watching TV series as I believe many of these are boring and don’t increase my culture.
Your work is built on creativity. While we’re all in quarantine, what is your solution to keep on being creative? Where do you find your inspiration in this moment?
My work is about creativity and the only thing that stimulates it more is reading books. Reading opens an infinite world of ideas and possibilities. Other than that I try to not give up and not be lazy, but I don’t really have a recommendation suitable for everyone to stimulate creativity.
What is your biggest fear right now?
My biggest fear is to not finish my thesis in the best way I want, in the meantime I try to not see the fact to be home 24/7 as a disadvantage but as ‘a prison that will help to form ourselves’.
What will you do once all of this is over?
I do not find it easy to fully focus on my thoughts in this period, so I try to not wander about things could not really help me. I am thinking about how people will interact after the quarantine and the future project possibilities in the design industry.
