How has your everyday-life changed? What do you do to fulfill your day?
My life changed its times. My daily routine was scanned by too many things to do, I couldn't balance my school projects with my personal life, as well as my passion and my work. Now it is incredible how much time I have for myself and my personal growth. I have to deal with my thoughts, new ideas, and I have all the grit I will need when this all will be over.
Your work is built on creativity. While we’re all in quarantine, what is your solution to keep on being creative? Where do you find your inspiration in this moment?
The pro of this lockdown is that we have many ways to stay in touch with each other even being close at home. Technology allows us to know realities we didn't know before. Yesterday I was at the MoMA in New York, today I will be visiting the Richard Gray Gallery in Chicago. I have a never-ending list of movies to watch and re-watch. Instagram became the place to be if you want to watch some interesting lives and new contents. Still, I miss the energy that is born from the confrontation with real people.
What is your biggest fear right now?
I always need to make a plan to reach my goals, to realize my dreams and feel free with my few certainties. For now, I don't have any certainty anymore. I am surviving with the things I built as I was living by myself, and nothing else than what my apartment can offer. It could be the best moment in my life to turn everything upside down and create new plans, who knows?
What will you do once all of this is over?
Our motivation will grow very strong. We will start back from our own strengths and we will be less superficial.
