How has your everyday-life changed? What do you do to fulfill your day?
Before this all started, I had no time left to stay at home. Between my passions and my studies, I spent very few of my time at home. I have always complained that I had not enough time to accomplish my projects and obviously I am late even if now I am at home, but I always try to give my best. In times like this, it is very easy to let yourself go and feel down, because we are not motivated, but I found inside of me the strength to go on and keep experimenting. Knitting is my favorite hobby, now I finally have the time to focus on it.
Your work is built on creativity. While we’re all in quarantine, what is your solution to keep on being creative? Where do you find your inspiration in this moment?
Never give up. This is the best moment to create, think and do things without rush. I try to focus on what I love the most, that is knitting. We have available a communication system that gives us infinite instruments to never stop looking for new interests and hints.
What is your biggest fear right now?
That someone I love could suffer from this pandemic. Most of my relatives are in Ukraine, where the health system doesn't have the right instruments to face this situation.
What will you do once all of this is over?
I will start to appreciate more all the moments that I took for granted. I would have never thought that seeing a friend, running at the park or visiting a museum could have ever been taken away from me. I imagine a future in which we can come back to normality, still more aware of how much we are lucky to feel good and carry on our passions.
