Very often in big cities you happen to find - even in the most prestigious and luxurious areas - ugly objects in some corners of the street: garbage, abandoned things, umbrellas torn by the wind, that can ruin the aspect of the place.
There's a French artist who's been able to turn these ugly details, captured in the city of Paris, in something beautiful. Sandrine Estrade Boulet creates funny scenes starting right from these urban findings: funny sketches that require though a certain ability of observation, making every day's world look funnier.
The artist's intention is to demonstrate that art can make everything look immediately beautiful, confirming what Dostoevsky used to think: "Beauty will save the world".
