Graphic designer, illustrator, art director, choreographer and above all highly successful photographer. Jean Paul Goude has the creativity in his blood and is a champion in any field: his brilliant artistic mind was the key to his long-term success.
Born in 1940 in Saint-Mandé (Paris), his ambition was always to have an extraordinary career. Grace Jones and Studio 54 and Kim Kardashian on his cover for Paper Magazine are only some of his extraordinary achievements that have marked the history of photography, creating social and media phenomena.
The brilliant career of this artistic talent is currently on display at the Pavilion of Contemporary Art in Milan, a project launched and sponsored by Tod's titled So Far So Goude.
It includes, as in a wonderful archive, all the works that have marked Goude's career, from his drawings to his latest shots, made in Paris and New York. An occasion to live again the best of his past and present work, on display until June 19th.
