I perform, therefore I am

A lucid investigation of the relationship between body and mirror, performance and camera lens. The interaction between action and the subject that captures it: a celebration of the partnership between the photographer and his model.

The reification of the body and the camera which comes to life are the subject of a new exhibition at the Tate Modern in London, through a comprehensive review of all those who took part in this artistic interaction over the years.
