Grand opening: Francesco Vezzoli
Friday, Jan. 29 at Museion Bozen
January 22nd, 2016
Born in 1971, native of Brescia, Italy, Francesco Vezzoli is considered one of the most influential Italian artists in the world.
Artist poised between the sublime and the trash, this month he will be the protagonist of a double project at the Museion of Bolzano: he will be guest curator, with an exhibition dedicated to the permanent collection of the structure, but also artist, with a retrospective dedicated to his sculptural work. It's a production inspired by the busts of the ancient Rome, which revisits the classic style with an ironic point of view.
The inauguration will be on Friday January 29, at the Museion Bozen at 7 pm. The artist will be there.
