Taking fashion pictures which combine a classic aesthetic that emphasizes the product and a contemporary one that creates trends and a sense of timelessness is not easy.
Swedish photographer Benjamin Vnuk succeeded in this challenge. He began his career working first as an assistant, and later specializing behind his digital camera. He left the cold north of Sweden and moved to the pioneering Stockholm, where he funnelled all his creativity.
By observing the photographic work of professionals such as Richard Avedon, Irving Penn and Mikel Jansson, Vnuk has built his own style, an explosive mix of classic and modern.
