Kevin McCallister goes back home

What happened to the adorable (and mischievous) Kevin McCallister of Home Alone? Jack Dishel, former musician of Adam Green’s Moldy Peaches, guessed it as well and chose exactly Macaulay Culkin as the protagonist of the first episode of his new web series: DRYVRS.

In the clip the two travel in a car while a grown up Kevin – now 35-year-old – opens up about the traumatic experience of being forgotten at home on Christmas day and having to deal with two criminals wanting to rob his house. A mission he managed very well, by the way.

The result is less reassuring: Kevin has become an agitated adult, obstinate smoker, who confesses he still has nightmares about those nights alone.

Don’t watch this if you want to preserve the image of a young and innocent Kevin McCallister.
