A Dazed and Confused sequel is coming

For all the ones who have never forgotten the teen-aged atmospheres of Dazed and Confused (1993), there are good news. The cult movie by Richard Linklater is going to have a spiritual sequel: Everybody Wants Some, work of the same director.

Contrary to the previous film – inspired by the flower power attitude of the mythic 70s – this time the story will be set in the 80s and will portray the happy-go-lucky life of a group of baseball players dealing with the good and the bad of being adolescent.

There will not be – unfortunately – the young Matthew McConaughey and the beautiful Milla Jovovich at the beginning of her career anymore, but the premises for a successful movie are all there. Linklater is the author of films such as Boyhood, School of Rock and Fast Food Nation, so you can’t do nothing but save this date in your agenda: April 15^th, 2015.
