All the film posters of the 007 saga
From "Dr. No" to "Spectre"
November 4th, 2015
The movie saga starring James Bond - agent 007 of the MI6, the British secret service - is the longest series of Hollywood cinema, as well as one of the best known and appreciated.
It started in 1962 with Dr. No (known in Italian as Agent 007 - Licence to Kill) and its latest chapter is Spectre, which will be released in Italy tomorrow November 5th. Since its debut in '62, James Bond has been played by six different actors - Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig - and there have never been more than six years between one film and another.
Counting Spectre, the "official" movies dedicated to James Bond are 24. There are, however, 3 "apocryphal", not recognized ones: those that were not produced by the Broccoli family's EON Productions (a name clearly visible on many of the posters of the James Bond saga).
We don't know when the next James Bond movie after Spectre will be released yet. The title is supposed to be Bond 25 and - although there's nothing official yet - probably, after 4 films, Craig will not play James Bond anymore. At his place there may be one among Tom Hardy, Henry Cavill, Damien Lewis and Idris Elba, who would become the first black 007 agent in history.
To celebrate the new chapter of the saga, we go through its history with the posters that have accompanied the debut of each movie:
