Do you remember the macabre atmospheres of The Shining? Stanley Kubrick’s movie, adaptation of the namesake novel by Stephen King, has become an unprecedented cult of the horror cinematography.
Today, one of its most emblematic settings is about to be turned into a museum: the Stanley Hotel of Estes Park in Colorado – which has inspired the features of the Overlook Hotel of King’s book – will become the Mecca of the horror-movie-fans all over the world.
The structure will undergo a restoration estimated around $24 million, which includes 500 seats auditorium and a wide interactive programming.
