Even before his cinema debut, Stanley Kubrick had already experimented with the visual storytelling.
He worked as a photographer for the New York Magazine and Look, and compiled an archive of photographic reports, in which he captured both the harsh everyday reality and the worldliness luxurious life, opposite situations of the human condition.
