Wes Anderson's next project is revealed
a new animation movie about dogs
October 12th, 2015
Wes Anderson’s next project has been revealed. After the success of “The Grand Budapest Hotel”, which transformed the Texas director from niche author to planetary star, we have now details about his next work.
It’s an animation movie dedicated to the canine world. A surprising choice for a director like Anderson, who made many dogs die in his movies (see the one hit by a car in “The Royal Tenenbaums” or the puppy pierced by an arrow in “Moonrise Kingdom”).
It is not the first time the director deals with animation: “Fantastic Mr. Fox” (2009) is inspired by the children’s novel by Roal Dahl of the same name and has as protagonists a funny family of foxes, dressed impeccably (and matching with the background, of course).
We’ll be waiting intensely to see this new foretold cult, for both adults and kids.
