Vernacular Typography is a design and photography project that documents and maps disappearing examples of found lettering. Is a collaborative effort with local typographers and signmakers to document, map, and preserve these fragile remaining examples of a representative cultural art form that is being swept away by the uniformity of corporate advertising, which ignores and subverts local history and tradition.
