Art Lies See Different Think art
Surrealist Air Collages
May 27th, 2015
Art is a lie that tells the truth. Said Picasso.
From this phrase was born @art.lies, Instagram account created by Lorenzo Castellini.
The idea of this Brazilian guy is simple: insert pieces of great works of art in the background of the real San Paolo, creating what he calls "aircollage".
"The composition is made from different elements using different environments, there is no contact between the element and the shape, the result is an effect comic-surreal."
Castellini is fascinated by ordinary characters and turns them into hybrids of art: a chef has the face of Van Gogh, a rabbi of a Magritte apple for a face.
The images of art.lies bring a little smile in the everyday.
Lorenzo is planning to travel around the world by creating collage, so it could happen to you to become pieces of a vibrant virtual museum.
