July 3rd, 2014
This summer, the Museum of Arts and Design has decided to showcase the talent made in New York with NYC Makers: The MAD Biennial, an initiative started in July 2014, which highlights the creative community thriving in all five boroughs, a cross section that embraces cultural production and creativity of the artists in the exhibition.
The curator, Jake Yuzna, explains his desire to create a container that celebrates the talent MAD transforming into a lab that not only presents, but supports those who have chosen to continue to work and live in New York, esponedo individuals who apply an exceptional level of workmanship in creating objects or environments that have changed for the better in our daily lives, continuing to make New York one of the most interesting urban communities around the world.
The exhibition looks set to hold about 100 pieces, including the HBA parachute jacket and shorts from their SS14 collection. For all those fortunate enough to have the opportunity to see the exhibition you will find detailed plans HBA next to a demonstration of special effects.
A huge amount of creativity shows. Absolutely not to be missed.
