RADA by Stefano Esposito

Il progetto di Stefano Esposito, RADA, è una seduta caratterizzata dall’utilizzo di uno o più cavi di corda tecnica attrezzati a mano su una semplice struttura in tondino/barre di acciaio, ferro o alluminio piegato, saldato e verniciato con polveri epossidiche.

L'utilizzo della corda tecnica, usata nel performante mondo nautico, garantisce resistenza meccanica ed agli agenti atmosferici.

I cavi utilizzati sono trecciati o ritorti in fibra sintetica ad alta tenacità, attrezzati a mano sul telaio.

Gli accostamenti cromatici, gli intrecci dei fusi, i diametri, la flessibilità di anima e calza dei cavi e le combinazioni con il telaio sono molteplici.

I moduli possono conformare singole sedute e poltroncine.

Stefano Esposito's project, RADA, is a chair characterized by the use of one or more cables of technical rope, fitted on a simple rod structure of steel bars, iron or aluminum, folded, welded and painted with epoxy.

The technical rope, used in high performance for sailing, provides mechanical strength and weathering.

The cables are braided or twisted by synthetic fiber with high-tenacity and they are hand-fitted on the frame.

The color combinations with the chassis, woven of the spindles, diameters, flexibility of soul and sock, are several.

The modules are fit for single chairs/armchairs or sofas.
