The first NFT exhibition of Emanuele Ferrari
100 Polaroid in edizione limitata sono acquistabili su OpenSea
February 10th, 2022
Emanuele Ferrari, the only Italian photographer included among the top 20 most influential international photographers on the web according to the WIP index (Web Popularity Index) for two consecutive years, today launches Unseen Collection, an NFT capsule composed of 100 snapshots from his private archive. Small moments of daily life, details, hitherto unpublished backstage moments captured on Polaroid are available for purchase on the OpenSea platform. Each snapshot was burned as soon as it was made into NFT to ensure that the digital one was the only copy available.
Ferrari, recognized for his simple, irreverent and never banal style, has created advertising and editorial campaigns for brands such as Fendi, Diesel, Nike, Marc Jacobs, collaborating over the years with magazines such as Icon, Purple, i-D, Vogue, Nylon, Rolling Stones, El Pais, Vanity Fair. The collection is inspired by the Polaroid Corporation, founded by American scientist Edwin H. Land in 1937 and recognized worldwide as a leader in instant photography. In the late 1960s, Polaroid recruited the world's best artists - Ansel Adams, David Hockney and Andy Warhol - to test its products, and since then the brand has been synonymous with private and emotional moments, the starting point for Ferrari's exhibition.
