Versace Home's new Milanese boutique
Unveiled along with the brand's new furniture line
April 16th, 2021
"Via Durini is the Via Montenapoleone of furniture". These were the words of Brenda Basso, vice-president of Versace Home Licensing, on the occasion of the opening of the new Versace Home boutique in the San Babila area of Milan. Behind the ionic columns of the façade, hide five hundred square meters dedicated to the latest furniture collections of the brand whose design has been curated by the Vudafieri-Saverino partners' studio. This is just the first of at least five other Versace Home stores that will open in London, Miami, New York, Paris and Los Angeles.
The new store was built to mimic the structure of a real home, with a sitting room, dining room, bedroom, and even a hidden interior garden, with an entrance decorated with LED lights and mega screens. Versace's classic signature (trigreche, jellyfish and so on) have been kept discreet to better highlight the design of the furniture that recalls the brand's collections such as the Venus armchair, the Venus Goddess sofa or the Stiletto cabinet decorated with the Trésor de la Mer pattern. The collection has recently been expanded and also includes wallpapers and household linens.
