Conceived by Green Media Lab and by botanist Stefano Mancuso

Green Media Lab, the media relation & digital company specialized in communication and strategic consulting activities in sustainability, outdoor, lifestyle and healthy food, has recently presented a new installation called Fabbrica dell'Aria, a system designed by Stefano Mancuso and PNAT to purify the air of indoor spaces through plants. Fabbrica dell'Aria is the first prototype installed in Milan that combines the potential of technology with plant filtration capabilities: thanks to botanical purification, the installation allows to absorb and degrade air pollutants typically present in modern buildings and cities up to 98%.
The structure occupies an area of about 25 square meters, it was built in such a way as to allow air to enter inside a glazed wall and flow into the tanks there are plants that retain pollutants, and then return, purified, to the environment. Stefano Mancuso, world-renowned botanist and director of the International Laboratory of Plant Neurobiology, has designed together with PNAT – a multidisciplinary company of researchers, biologists, designers, engineers and architects – the Air Factory in the Green Media Lab headquarters whose realization was possible thanks to the contribution of Giovanni Storti of the Trio Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo, who strongly believes in the mission and vision of Green Media Lab , so much so that he became a partner in 2020.
