A capsule collection accompanied the presentation of the new model
October 29th, 2020
UPDATE 29.10.20: After last month's tesaser, the Lamborghini Aventador S signed by Yohji Yamamoto was finally presented. The bodywork of the car is tidal with black and red stripes, with white Japanese lettering on the doors and interior, and Yamamoto's signature on the left side of the bonnet. The dialogue of red and black continues inside, all skin, suede and embroidered writing. The presentation took place on the occasion of the official launch of THE LOUNGE TOKYO – Lamborghini's new retail and luxury lounge point in Japan.
The release was also accompanied by a capsule collection dominated by the Lamborghini logo and Yamamoto's signature. The capsule includes a fishtail parka, bomber jacket and hoodie. For the time being, there is a lack of news on the availability of the capsule in Europe and its actual release date.

After collaborating with Hublot, adidas and Supreme, Yohji Yamamoto shows no sign of stopping. Recently, in fact, the designer published a teaser of his upcoming collaboration with Lamborghini. The images show the Lamborghini logo bearing Yamamoto's signature with an all-black colourway and what appears to be the decorative pattern of the car's bodywork.
It will almost certainly be a custom-made model. The teaser photos also feature two Japanese inscriptions: 呵大笑力大笑, which means "Laughter" and ロマンスグレー which translates to English as "Romance Gray," the likely name of one of the car's colourways. Not much other information has been disseminated by the designer, except that the car will be "a work of art".
