Virgil Abloh & Takashi Murakami together again "America Too"
A new exhibition at the Gagosian in Beverly Hills

After the recent exhibition in London in February with their exhibition Future History and in Paris in June with Technicolor 2, Takashi Murakami and Virgil Abloh decided to join forces for the third time, giving life to America Too. The new artistic project, which will be exhibited from October 10th until October 25th 2018 at the Gagosian in Beverly Hills, California, will include a selection of paintings, sculptures and works with neon shades previously seen, but also many original pieces. Among these is a particular reinterpretation of the American flag, unveiled by Murakami on Instagram. The classic star and stripe emblem is reworked in a cartoon key with a fun mash-up of the styles of Abloh and the Japanese artist: from the intersecting arrows of Off- Murakami's manga styled eyes. Curious to see the other creations? The couple's previous shows have raised a lot of hype, attracting visitors and important admirers like Justin Timberlake, Mos Def, KAWS and the model Luka Sabbat.
