There's a Nobuyoshi Araki exhibition inside Saint Laurent's Colette pop-up store
From December 2 until the closing up of the Parisienne concept store
December 1st, 2017
From November 27 to December 20, the day the store will close forever, Colette hosts a Saint Laurent pop-up shop on its first floor.
For the occasion, the French brand has created a capsule collection with eclectic pieces ranging from lighters to the Vespa, from the rock-inspired tees to rollerblade stilettos, but that's more than this.
In fact, those who visit the space on Rue Saint-Honoré 213 from December 2 will be able to see Saint Laurent Shiki-in, an exhibition by Nobuyoshi Araki: sixteen black and white images of Anja Rubik, which blend pictorial and photographic techniques.
In the shots the model, defined by Anthony Vaccarello as the emblem of a “free, hedonistic and elusive woman”, is lying on her back, her eyes closed and her legs bent; naked with only the jacket and bands of blue, purple and splashes of pink; standing naked on high heels, her arms held by straps wrapped around her chest, which are combined with the black straps of the shoes around her ankles.
If you love Araki’s art and Saint Laurent style, do not miss this appointment.
