The veiled beauty by Cristina Coral
The photographer immortalized for Edicola the traces of an inner dialogue
June 13th, 2017
Cristina Coral, an almost self-taught photographer, explores the female psyche through a series of pastel toned and dreamy settings with her Hidden Beauty photo project was created for the fourth issue of Edicola, the face.
"In this project I do not want to highlight the external beauty but to capture the traces of the internal dialogue. My female figures are closed in their intimacy almost in self-analysis of themselves, in introspection and research.
The facial features are hidden to avoid any contact to the external world that could disturb this intense inner dialogue.Female figures absent, but at the same time present in their intimacy. The complexity of the female figure is the best interpreter of my vision and for me the best way to express feelings.
Ancient spaces and rooms where female figure enters into intimacy with herself between memories , beauty and dreamlike visions.
All this as time goes on..."
