Sunday Escape - Naman Pure Spa
Da Nang City, Vietnam
April 30th, 2017
A long weekend at the doorstep offers an opportunity to dream holidays and wonderful places, special places to relax and leave your mind free to fly.
The lucky ones will already have their suitcase ready and the plane ticket in their hands, all the others can travel with us in the rooms of a beautiful spa surrounded by greenery in the heart of Vietnam.
Da Nang is a city lying on the west bank of the Han River between mountains, unspoilt nature and isolated beaches of the South China Sea. Here, the architects of the MIA Design Studio have realized Naman Pure Spa, a wellness center, an oasis of tranquility in the open air, offering its guests the opportunity to relax and purify themselves in luxury.
This space in which all senses are touched and the mind finds peace in reality is a 1600-square-foot quadruple building, part of the Naman Retreat five-star resort.
Its main feature is greenery. The plants invade everything, from the fàades to the garden roof to the interior, where local tree species make each environment unique and evocative. They regulate the inner microclimate, work as a natural shield against the tropical sun, create a pleasant play of lights and shadows and smell the rooms. Outside the facade is cross-linked, marked by latex modules and green modules of climbing plants that stretch to cover.
Both internally and externally draping plants like palm or dracaena daco, hanging gardens and green walls envelop the whole spa.
The spa includes a pool, gym, man and woman changing room, Yoga room, Jacuzzi area, relaxation area, workstation rooms, bookstore, exhibition room, spa and personalized treatment rooms.
Each space has been arranged to flow seamlessly into another but at the same time all these environments overlook a central patio where relaxation areas alternate with water tanks connected to the outside through small channels, similar to water coolers, thanks to a water reuse facility.
So, what do you think about Naman Pure Spa? Are you ready to go to Vietnam?
