inhabit #3 - Igor Termenon The concept of home immortalized by the Spanish photographer

The protagonist of inhabit #3 is Igor Termenon, is a Spanish photographer based in Edinburgh and working between the UK and his homeland. We have asked him what the idea of "home" means for him.

The series I used to live here started as a documentation of the places in which I lived between 2009 and 2011. During those three years  I lived in five cities/towns  and in two different countries (Glasgow, Edinburgh and Liverpool in the UK, Ponferrada and Gijón in Spain). While I was living in those places the word "home" lost, somehow,  its meaning to me. I really didn’t know where I was going to end up next and the photos were an excuse. After I moved to Edinburgh in 2011, I decided to continue the series photographing these places every time I go back to them.

Among Igor Termenon customers are included leading magazines, such as i-D magazine and Hunger. Igor is also the co-founder and creative director of Future Positive, a creative studio and online platform showcasing creative and entrepreneurial projects from across the globe. He was the founder and editor of Girls/Boys on Film, a series of zines and books published between 2011 and 2016 which were featured in many global presses including Elle Japan, Vogue Girl Korea and Dazed Digital. The zines are now part of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA)'s library archive in NYC.
